Primarily operating under the direct management of the 2nd RETAILING Group, the GEO stores have expanded throughout Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa. The stores offer amusement products such as movies, music, books, and video games through a variety of formats, including movie, music, and book rentals as well as retail sales and reuse of video game software. We have also expanded our lineup of audiovisual electronics, including game consoles and flat-panel televisions. By consolidating the management of GEO’s operations and logistics functions under the 2nd RETAILING Group’s Head Office, we have realized swift and efficient operations, with each store offering a wide variety of products catering to the latest trends and customer demand.

Although the widespread use of the internet has made it possible to obtain many products without visiting a store, many customers still prefer to view and select products displayed on store shelves in person. Each GEO store allows customers to access a range of products in optimal formats, and will continue evolving in order to constantly provide customers with an enjoyable retail experience.

GEO has expanded its product lineup to include items such as reused smartphones, audiovisual electronics, and lifestyle products. We offer a wide range of quality daily necessities at affordable prices, and are now enhancing our home entertainment business to help our customers to spend quality time at home. At the same time, we are proactively pursuing the development of original products. From products closely aligned with media shops, such as earphones, televisions, and smartphone peripherals, to apparel such as loungewear and everyday items, the GEO stores are expanding their product offerings to include a wide variety of useful lifestyle products. By leveraging our extensive national sales network comprising both brick-and-mortar and online stores, the GEO network provides products at affordable prices while maintaining our commitment to quality.

Moving forward, we will continue working to enhance the appeal of our stores by pursuing innovative store development and product offerings that go beyond conventional approaches, with the aim of creating an enjoyable shopping environment for our customers.

Since entering the mobile phone dealership business in 2002, the 2nd RETAILING Group has subsequently expanded its purchases and sales of mobile phones as the popularity of smartphones rose. In 2015, we began offering our low-cost SIM card service and have since developed a business model that offers both handsets and telecommunication carrier services.

We expanded the number of GEO mobile specialty stores, which offer a wide lineup of mobile devices ranging from new to pre-owned. Including stores opened within existing GEO locations, we established a presence in all 47 prefectures in 2021, and reached 800 stores in July 2025.

GEO mobile currently specializes in the purchase and sale of mobile-related products, particularly smartphones, and is aggressively expanding its network by opening standalone stores or outlets located within our existing stores. In recent years, in addition to opening new outlets within consumer electronics stores, GEO mobile is also pursuing joint ventures by providing its expertise in the sale and purchase of used devices.

GEO mobile offers a wide selection of products, including reused smartphones and tablets, as well as accessories such as earphones and smartwatches. Leveraging the Group’s extensive store network, we meet the increasingly diverse needs of the reused smartphone market by offering a wide selection of devices together with low-cost SIM services. Centralized inventory management enables flexible sales based on demand, while every device sold is fully initialized, thoroughly cleaned, and managed with traceability measures to ensure customers can use it safely and with confidence.

The Group has also established a proprietary qualification and certification system to train and assign expert smartphone advisors capable of providing our customers with meticulous service. These advisors provide support ranging from helping customers select devices to recommending usage options tailored to individual needs.

Leveraging the expertise that GEO and GEO mobile have cultivated over many years, GEO DIGITAL BASE integrates a wide range of services beyond buying and selling, including same-day in-store device repairs, rental services that allow customers to borrow smartphones and game consoles on the spot, low-cost SIM plan recommendations, and assistance with initial device setup. Specialized staff provide one-stop solutions for all digital device-related needs, delivering comprehensive support to customers.
