Global Expansion

Aiming to Be the Standard in the Global Second-Hand Market

The overseas business of the 2nd RETAILING Group aims to deliver the diverse culture of reuse cultivated in Japan to the rest of the world.
We have leveraged our expertise in bringing out new value in secondhand things to enter the United States and Asian markets for clothing and accessories, as well as luxury products and mobile devices.

We want to provide local customers with the excitement of finding a bargain and a lifestyle where nothing is thrown away. We also want to build recycling-oriented infrastructure over the world.

By utilizing the strengths of these businesses, we will continue to strive to enrich lives around the world in a manner that meets the needs of diverse lifestyles.

OKURA is also in the process of actively promoting its overseas business. We are developing business proposals and wholesale operations with a focus on watches, bags, and jewelry catered to overseas business operators based on an abundant inventory that fully leverages our strengths in purchasing. OKURA established a corporation in Hong Kong in 2011, and operates stores in Hong Kong and Taiwan. OKURA’s operator, OKURA HOLDINGS CORPORATION, has established a three-way joint venture company in Hong Kong called World Watch Auction with Hong Kong Watch Trade Development Co, Ltd. and STAY GOLD Co., Ltd. Since September 2024, the company has operated a secondary-market auction business for luxury watches.

Global Strategy of World Mobile

Global Strategy of World Mobile

World Mobile helps circulate IT devices and electronic equipment that have completed their role in Japan to regions around the world where demand exists. This supports both the minimization of corporate asset disposal risks and the achievement of a recycling-oriented society. We offer a wide range of products including new and used smartphones, tablets, PCs, and video game consoles. In addition to manufacturers, trading companies, and leasing companies, World Mobile appropriately purchases excess inventory, trade-in products, and lease-returned items from local governments, educational institutions, and other organizations. We then distribute these items to overseas markets through our proprietary global network.
