External Evaluations and Participation in Initiatives

The CDP is a non-profit organization that runs a system for disclosing environmental information. It surveys and analyzes the environmental efforts of corporations and other organizations around the world and discloses the results of those assessments.

In FY2026, the 2nd RETAILING Group achieved a “B” score in the field of Climate Change, reflecting the assessment that “Recognizes its environmental risks and impacts and takes action.” This marks the second consecutive year the “B” score has been achieved, following FY2025.

In recognition of our proactive initiatives to promote employee health, the 2nd RETAILING Group was certified as a 2026 Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category), a program jointly organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi.

We have been certified as an Aichi Women’s Brilliance Company due to our efforts to promote work-life balance and create an environment where our employees can engage in childcare or nursing while working, in addition to our top management’s statements on empowering women and our efforts to expand female recruitment and job functions, develop female human resources, and promote women to managerial positions.

In FY2026 we were certified “bronze” as a company that strives to achieve a workplace where LGBTQ+ individuals can work with pride, according to the evaluation standards for efforts regarding sexual minorities such as LGBTQ+ individuals of the Work with Pride Association.

The D&I Award is a system for certifying corporate diversity and inclusion based on a score derived from unique evaluation indices. In FY2026, we were chosen as a “best workplace” for our cultivation of a corporate D&I culture and the proactive efforts of our individual employees in promoting D&I.

The “Human Capital Survey”—jointly conducted by the HR Technology Consortium, HR Research Institute, and the Association to Confirm the Human Investment Value for Enterprise—evaluates human capital management and disclosure. In the 2025 survey, 2nd RETAILING Group was selected for “Human Capital Management Excellence 2025 Award” for meeting certain standards.

GX Future Consortium is a public-private partnership platform that aims to realize a virtuous cycle of decarbonization and economic growth. Its activities are built around two key initiatives: the “GX Future Academy,” which focuses on human resource development, and the “GX Future League,” which establishes rules for demand creation and financing. The 2nd RETAILING Group endorses these objectives and has been a participant in the consortium since April 2026.

The 2nd RETAILING Group is an official member of the Japan Reuse Affairs Association. The Japan Reuse Affairs Association promotes action to increase recognition of reuse and the reuse business and encourage the healthy development of the reuse industry, based on its philosophy of “Contributing to the formation of a sustainable recycling-oriented society via healthy and highly-transparent development of the entire reuse industry.”
