Code of Corporate Ethics and Code of Conduct

In order to receive a higher level of trust from our customers and fulfill our social responsibility as a good corporate citizen, we have established the 2nd RETAILING Group Code of Corporate Ethics and the 2nd RETAILING Group Code of Conduct. We promote compliance-based management across the entire 2nd RETAILING Group.

    Provide customers with satisfying products and services

    We always act from the perspective of our customers in order to provide satisfying products and services.

    Strictly manage customer information

    We manage customer information to ensure that it is not disclosed without permission and not leaked to a third party.

    Comply with laws and regulations

    In addition to laws and in-house regulations or rules, we also comply with social norms and carry out our duties with integrity.

    Engage in fair competition

    We engage in free and fair competition with other companies in the industry. We do not use unscrupulous methods to sell products.

    Provide timely and appropriate corporate information

    We provide timely and appropriate corporate information to our customers, business partners, shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders.

    Protect company assets and do not mix business use with private use

    We protect company assets and do not use them for anything other than business. We clearly separate business use from private use to avoid conflicts of interest.

    Moderate gift-giving and entertaining

    When providing our business partners with gifts or entertainment, we do so in line with social norms and based on in-house rules. We also never ask our business partners for gifts such as money or goods.

    Never engage in insider trading

    When we learn of inside information regarding our company or other companies, we do not trade securities of that company until the information has been formally announced. We also engage in thorough internal control to ensure that the inside information of our company is not improperly leaked.

    Respect human rights

    We are considerate of others, respect human rights, and do not unfairly discriminate based on sex, age, nationality, creed, religion, disability, sexual identification, or sexual orientation. We also never engage in harassment.

    Strive to maintain employee health and safety

    We strive to maintain employee health and safety in the workplace and build a workplace environment that is comfortable and easy to work at.

    Take a resolute stance against antisocial forces

    We take a resolute stance against antisocial forces or groups that threaten the order and safety of society.

    Maintain a healthy and normal relationship with government and administration

    We maintain a healthy and normal relationship with government and administration. We do not engage in illegal political donations, illegal payoffs, or bribery.

    Work together with the local community

    As a good corporate citizen, we strive to work together with and maintain a good relationship with the local community.

    Actively tackle environmental problems

    We recognize the importance of environmental problems and actively strive to effectively use resources, recycle resources, and save energy.
